College students who want to make a difference during spring break, can join American Hiking Society on a Volunteer Vacation. Participants help construct and maintain thousands of trail miles and only need to bring camping gear and a willingness to get dirty.
March trips include destinations like Russell Cave National Monument, Alabama (3/7-3/13/10), Douthat State Park, Virginia (3/8-3/14/10), and Dolan Springs Trail System, Arizona (3/21-3/27/10).
Register by Sunday, February 28, to receive a 10 percent discount off the regular registration fee.
