Our members are the foundation of Trailspace's backcountry gear community. You share your gear experiences and opinions in reviews and forum posts, and we want to recognize your valuable contributions even more.
Beginning this month, Trailspace will recognize the most helpful review of the month. The author of the gear review rated the most helpful by the community over the previous 30 days will win a selection of Trailspace goodies.
How can you get involved?

Write your own helpful gear reviews and share your personal backcountry gear knowledge with others. (Check out "Write a Killer Gear Review" for tips.)
- Click the "Yes" button after "Was this review helpful?" at the bottom of a review, whenever you read a truly helpful review (See image at right). You'll recognize that review and its author and help highlight the most valuable reviews on the site.
We live in a gilded age of gear with thousands of new products introduced every year. The incredible variety can make it difficult to choose between all the new, shiny equipment. Your user reviews help other community members select the best gear for their backcountry adventures and get out there safely.
