Extended Adairondac snowshoeing routes?

Can anyone recommend a route for a three day two night trip. I am 50 and in moderatly good shape. I have a pair of Atlas 800 series, the largest size. I am going with a friend and am looking for a route that is picturesque and without trying for any peaks. Good open views, that kind of thing. Throw in a fun day trips from base camp. Any suggestions would be appriciated.
