Good list Bryan. You've done you're homework.

If you don't mind... couple of ?s for my research...

Was your storm adventure "intentional", or were you stranded.

Did you have any prior knowledge of survival skill/kits?

Did you self rescue, or were you found.

What kind of equipment did you cannibalize/adapt in order to make your situation better?
