Finally?! The ultimate cross between a tent and a hammock?! :)
Looks like more of a kids toy to me by their own pictures. However, one has to give them some serious points for creativity. Takes a beer or two to think "Hey! I'm going to design a hanging teepee tent."

Another variation on a portaledge. These have been around for years and heavily used by big wall climbers.

So not recommended for big wall climbers that go above 1/2 a meter above the ground.
Before any other wise cracks as I am prone do do.
What do this weigh ? i.e. full packed ready for transport with all parts, bags and accessories ?

Another fine example of a piñata for a bear's birthday party. Also just in time for Cinco de Mayo.

the use OGBO talks about makes sense...but just getting in 3 feet above ground zero seems kinda silly.

Hey Callahan, this is of of the teepee site. "4 tethers, one on each corner, allow the Treepee® to be secured for a less mobile ride."
Notice they say "to be secured for a less mobile ride". I think this would be greatly effective for parents in the back country as a parent now has a option of sending his/her child to the time out teepee. Sounds like fun till you have to sit in the thing in a driving wind for an hour. "If I hear any more whinning I'm going to remove the tethers, don't make me remove the tethers...................

Or at least a bucket?
