This afternoon I'll be meeting two of Leave No Trace's Traveling Trainers, Kate and Tracy, for a workshop they're holding and a short Q&A.

What LNT principles have you always wondered about?

Share your LNT questions here and I'll ask them for you and share the answers.

  • TP or no TP?
  • What stoves are best?
  • Fire or no fire?
  • Most common mistakes?
  • Do I really need to stay on the trail?

I use grass instead of TP, also smooth rocks, and sometimes smooth sticks.

Thanks for sharing all of these questions. I'll answer all in the next few days.

In the meantime, if you never have, check out the LNT principles.

And why is it always the real cheap beer cans within the first mile of the trail head? After that I find the micro brew bottles every now and again.
