old stove story

Recently I found and old Optimus 99 stove that I had bought around 1974 in my parent's basement. The brass fuel tank still had Coleman fuel in it leftover from it's last use sometime in the 70's. Just for kicks I thought I'd try to get it started. I took it outside and warmed up the fuel tank with my hands, just like I did so many times almost 30 years ago and if fired right up. I've started using it on shorter hikes again and somehow it makes the food taste better.
