fitting chaco z2's

Hi,
I recently bought a pair of chaco z2's online. I had tried them on in a store and liked them, but now that I am trying to get the fit on my own pair right, I find that I can't seem to get them to hold my heel snugly. Has anyone experienced this with Chaco's, or have any suggestions?
