Facebook app for hikers and climbers

Facebook has an web application that allows you to find hiking partner and log your hikes. Here is the description of the app from Facebook:

"Let your friends know the amazing places you've hiked and climbed. Share your stories and pictures; look up your climbs on 3D Google Earth or satellite map. Find others climbers in your area and buddy up. Check it out, may be your friends already logged a climb with you in it, you just don't know it yet."

This web app is created a month ago and has attracted over 800 users already. 1200+ climb logs are added. You do need to be a Facebook member to use it. Facebook is the 8th most visited site (according to Alexa) in the world.
