Wildlife Officer Saves Bear.. poor fella

I thought this was an interesting and timely eye-opening story from here in East Tennessee, just west of the AT near Hot Springs, NC.

Props to the determined officer and all her caring effort to rescue the bear.

I saw that this morning, I am amazed the poor bear managed to stay alive.

From the article link above:

"Amazingly, the bear made a full recovery and was released into the Cherokee National Forest far away from any garbage containers."

Cherokee already has enough dysfunctional bears I guess one more won't hurt.

I'm happy for the bear though, and a great job by the officer.

the bear should have swallowed those nuts then its' cheeks would not have been so big
