anybody familiar with LT between LT/AT split and mt mansf

trying to find good swimming spots on LT.i know about swimming hole near duck brook shelter,but looking for anywhere between route 4(killington)and route 15(north of mt mansfield).july/august trip either dried up or full of lily pads.any opinions?
