Old Roll Dam Rapids on the Penobscot River

Please can someone help. I'm from the United Kingdom and will be paddling the Penobscot River in October this year. What are the rapids like below the Old Roll Dam? I've seen two different reviews that range from flat calm to a Grade 2. Does anyone have any experience of these rapids?
