I have use the Camping Gaz 270. I must say that it is a nice and cheap way to go when you are thingking about buying a stove. My friend used the Msr Pocket Rocket and di not like the pot stablizers that you sat the pot on did not work and were rather slick with no grip to make it kind of more annoying than fun.

Well this is just a run down on thos two.

Best backpack stove is my Coleman Extreme propane. Very light (about .5 lb.) and burns hot.
