This fuel is being tested by the aviation industry and it produces less toxic residues then the traditional aviation kerosene. The main components of this fuel are ethanol and vegetal oils.

I think that is very interesting for liquid fuel backpacking stoves.

Has anyone tested this kind fuel ?

I have not tested any bio fuels personally, but whenever I've read of tests, the stoves typically do not run well.  What I've been reading is that stoves don't burn cleanly and tend to jam more than usual.
