I'm just starting the rationalizing the gear locker and have a few items I'd give folks a heads up here before going to the well known auction site.

Haven't done pics yet as weather sucks here in Seattle and don't want to set up tents in this mess.

1. Sierra Designs Glacier tent. Red/orange body and neutral green fly and floor. Coating redone with Stephenson urethane

2. Trailwise Fitzroy III. Blue and Green.

3. Sierra Designs Flashlight Blue body yellow fly and floor have instructions.

4. Patagonia original pile jacket in tan. Very good to excellent condition. M size.

5. Camp stoves. Many kero and many Primus 71's and Optimus units.... some unlit if you are a collector.

PM me if you are interested for pictures or more info.

Thanks,

Mazama

You are just teasing us.  I can't believe you are getting rid of the Fitzroy, or is that a spare?

What shape is your SD Glacier in? Even with a floor recoating does it leak? Also  interested in your Optimus stoves.

                  Thanks,

Hi Alan, I do have two Fitzroys. This one is in the really good shape and the other is a project for me.

Best,

Hi,

Actually the SD is totally bomber. I had it on snow and in some nasty weather on an Olympics trip but can't lay my hands on the pics. Probably on my Freeagent drive...This tent would probably float and it does have the functioning zipper stove / or "relief" hole in the vestibule.

My stoves... I'm putting a good list together for and will post it later today after some chores...

What stoves do you have? I want a liquid fuel stove, not precanistered fuel. I want like a MRS, Optimus or Svea stove.

Looks like you have got some stuff. Now I'm a bottom feeder, But get the list together. Then post. You might make the Calf gold rush look link a tadpole in a stream.

Cant wait. :)

Hi all...the first cut of the list..working on what I'd like but feel free to offer. I'm not through looking for them yet as I have one Primus 71 that is MIA and is unlit.

Cut me some slack since I'm rewiring the gear locker (closet) so things are a bit scattered. Probably some more of them are in Sigg cookkits and I'm not back to that section yet. I'll take pics of these for people if they are interested. A lot of these are highly collectable and many of them date from the 30's and 40's.  I had them at one point date coded but somewhere that Excel file is lurking but I've not found it yet.

All these except the unlit ones used to run very well. They are empty now. I am not going to test fire them then try to dry them enough to be able to ship them without worry about TSA issues.

I put some prices up. I'd have to weight these to figure freight but estimate between 12 and 17 depending.

I'll keep these up for a while then head over to the auction site after I get the pics taken but that gives some here a chance to complete their collection. Always open to offers.

Money sent.  That is all I am interested in at the time.  I'll have to see what else you come up with.   This will round out my smaller stove collection.  I have a 1920's 96, so as much as I would like another Pocket, I'll pass. :(

Hi Duane, looked over the Pocket last night and it is a R code and that would be 1927. The gold beige can and stove are so clean it could be unlit. No other signs of having been fired..

Found the date code so if I go to eBay I'll at least have the right dates.

One of my regular 96's is from the '20's, my Pocket is newer, can't recall the date at the moment.  More stoves?  A nice pocket 100 on eBay, oh man.

is this what the Svea 121  looks like?

thumb_1237020242-Svea-121_-St_238-5.jpg

Looks like it would be more stable than the 123. Whats it weigh?

And this is the Optimus 8R Blue box gas stove.

hunter-300x222.jpg

Think I like the Optimus 8R better as it closes up in its one case. Still got this? All the parts there?

Hi Gary,

I did not take pictures of the Svea 121 yet but it looks basically like the Optimus 00 pictured below (it was a rebadge or clone of the Optimus 00 stove) with the round tank rather than the squared looking tank like the Primus 210 or Radius 21.

I did get pics of the 8R and Optimus 00 as well as both the Optimus 99's and one of the 1962 Primus 71's.

This 8R would shine up nice like the one in your picture as would the 00.

Both ran well when I last had them fired up. Used the Svea to make water from snow for a bunch of people when their Whisperlites clogged due to non maintenance.

...I took several shots of this as I'll probably eBay it in the not too distant future if no one wants it here. The Optimus 99's will go up first then the 8R and some other kero burners.
