Looking for old backpacking gear and clothing
Hi- I'm looking to purchase vintage backpacking, mountaineering and climbing gear from the 1960's to the 1980's. I'm mostly interested in tents, specifically some of the older Sierra Designs tents like the octadome, wilderness 2-man tent, glacier,pleasure dome, three man tent, airflex 2-man mountain tent, North face VE 23, oval intention etc. Also backpacks, sleeping bags, clothing, stuff from Trailwise, Early Winters, Lowe Alpine, Snow Lion, Hine Snowbridge, Banana, Chinook, Camp 7, Synergy etc. The stuff does not have to be in mint condition but hopefully more or less functional. I have a Hine Snowbridge frame pack I bought in the 1970s (would have been 1976, I believe).
It is dark blue, with about 90% of the coating intact. It is in v. good shape and has been stored well.
My knees gave out for descents, but I kept it in (vain) hopes....
