Jeep 3 room cabin dome 17' x 1' x 84"
Hallo there. Can anyone help? Last year I bought a Jeep 3 room dome tent via Ebay. Am here in New Zealand and leaving next month, so never got round to using it. I now want to sell it, and have been asked various questions, i.e. what is the waterproof rating (?) etc., also, am confused, I know nothing about camping or manufacturers etc., after searching google (not much there either!), would I be right in saying its a "Columbia Jeep 3 room....tent" - if any one knows where I can obtain more info in order to answer potential buyer questions, I'd be really (really!) grateful. I have the Owners Manual Instructions, it says "Thank you for purchasing product manufactured by NorthPole Limited" - as I bought from Ebay - has anyone any info on NorthPole Ltd? Sorry, I don't know where to start with the questions, but basically want to sell it. This started out with me trying to find the waterproof rating? Any help, advice or info great appreciated. NorthPole makes a lot of similar mass-market tents under various brand names -- you can find them at W-Mart, Kmart, etc. I'm not sure how much "technical" info they'll be able to provide. The best way to check waterproofness is to set the tent up and spray it with a garden hose.

if this is the same tent i used it for the second time in two years and the last camping trip i was on it rain the whole trip and the tent helded up well and it did get a little water but i think it did great compared to the coleman my son had that one almost blew away and got much rain. i hope it was some help i did see a site with ratings try jeep.com and see what comes up. good luck!!

I have this tent. Purchased 2 years ago from Sam's Club in North Carolina. It is a great tent. The dimensions are 17 x 11 feet. It is a three room tent with a divider in sleeping area. It has screen room with cup holders, sky lights, and closets to keep camping gear out of the way.(One closet could double as a place to store a porti-potty.) It has large bay windows built in on both sides of the tent. All seams are tape sealed from the factory on both the tent and rain fly. It has overhead storage as well as storage pockets in the screen room area. I have used the tent in heavy rain storms and only had one small leak in the screen room which a little seam seal took care of. By the way, the closets I mentioned have hanging shelves to store items you may use regularly plus area underneath to store larger items.The closets can be zipped completely to hide stuff in the closets. The skylights can be unzipped from inside the tent to even view the moon if you so desire. The tent setup requires two people because this is a large tent. Roof support for the tent is a combination of fiberglass and steel chain corded poles that snap into sections made onto the tent. Another poster mentioned that this tent is no longer available and that is correct. Columbia does make a similar tent. I have seen the Jeep Tent for sale on Ebay and other sites from 200-300 dollars U.S. I purchased from Sam's Club two years ago for 139.00 U.S.

Hello,
I have this tent and it is excellent. We are station here in Italy for almost 3 years. When we first arrived here, it was raining season on and off. How ever, after our stuffed arrived, the next day it continued to rain for 3 days straight and there was flood, water every where in our home. My point is the instructions book for the tent washed away. I am in desperate need of help. I need the instruction book, Please help me find one or if it is possible to send via email. I have a Jeep 3-Room Cabin Dome Tent. It is 15' x 12' and it has never been used. I set it up once in the back yard and it was like the Taj-Majal. Way to big for what I need. I live in Sacramento, CA and will ship anywhere.

I have the JEEP 15' x 12' tent and LOVE it. I have had it for about 4 years and have used it on many wonderful camping trips. We just arrived from a 2 week trip and unfortunately, the zippers on both doors no longer work. I have searched the internet for hours looking for this tent with no luck until I came across your message from this site. Please contact me if you still are wanting to sell your tent....I would love to purchase it!!!!! I have this tent and we have used it only 3 times; in excellent condition. I actually bought it from Sams Club while we were doing Boys Scouting stuff. My husband and I both have bad necks and we cannot go camping any more. I was actually getting ready to post ALL of our camping equipment on craigslist.org to sell. I'm tellin' ya; we have EVERYTHING for camping!! Let me know if interested. It is VERY heavy so shipping would be quite expensive. I am in Austin, TX.

I have been looking everywhere for this tent. We actually bought this tent at sams club too and then my husband got stationed in Alabama and we had to shed anything extra including this tent. If anyone knows where to purchase this tent, please let me know. Our home burned in Jan, and we lost all our camping equipment. We loved this tent, it was great for taking our two kids, as if it rained, at least there was room inside for us all to relax and not be on top of each other. Thanks so much!
