Spyder St.Anton Jacket

Hey I bought a st.anton jacket in size medium, if seems to fit fine but it seems a little long.I'm 5'7, the jacket seems to come down past my waist about 4 to 5 inches. Does anyone have this problem. I haven't tried on a size small but i'm assuming that it would fit better. If anyone has a size small, i'm willing to trade. Or if anyone who has this jacket, is it suppose to fit past the waste.Thanks
