Greetings from Bangkok. Anyone have any beta on Hood or St. Helens. Understood the snow fall was way off this winter and spring.

me curious too

Understood the snow fall was way off this winter and spring.

Does "way off" imply on the low side?

Si, that was what I had heard. Could be wrong cause blizzards had waved a friend off of Hood couple of weeks ago. Did not know what the top looked like.

Climbed St Helens on Saturday the 26th. Road to Climber's Bivouac is snow-free. Some snow on the Ptarmigan trail up to timberline, but not a lot. The ridge is snow-free, but plenty of snow in the gullies to both the east and the west of the ridge. Skiing/snowboarding conditions were good - though saw a couple of snowboarders start a small avalanche off to the west of the ridge (it was very warm on Saturday). The snow is melting fast!
