Kelty Radiant 3 - To seal or not to seal
Gear Repair and Maintenance Forum
We used the tent in a horrendous storm and had some leakage. Minor and nothing that made it into the sleeping area (overhead between the rainfly and dome)but it is a concern as we plan on being in the same and worse in the future. There is nothing worse than getting wet on a cold raining night….in your down sleeping bag. I thought Kelty pre-sealed these. Is it necessary to seal the seams on the rain fly? What’s the best sealant if the recommendation is to go ahead and seal.
