Hi. I want to buy a 3 season tent and I thought about the Seedhouse2 (Big Agnes).
it is lite, have good vintelation, and it fit my budget.
(200$ on moosejaw).
However, the fly and floor have only 1500mm water resistant, while other tents (and heavier) can hold 5000mm rain. the poles are from Aluminium but not the DAC fetherlite which is obligatory to the new tents...
so I fear Im buying someting a bit out of date. TNF tadpole23 for example have good water resistant fly and floor, and DAC fetherlite poles. but it does have bad reviews and is heavier.(and cost more)

my question is: does my fears regarding the Seedhouse are baced, or is it really a good tent that can hold medium showers and winds? Im thinking about the Indian Himalaya in Julie-October and regular 3 seasons hikes back home.

The other tents I thought about was Marmot Twilight, MH Viperine, and Kelty Grand Messa.
I would apritiate your'e opinion
