Pacific Outdoor Tropic sleeping pad
Gear Selection Forum
Thinking about some tropic climate hammock camping. Problem are the mosquitos bites through the hammock (Hennesey). Figured lugging around a sleeping pad for bug protection should work or maybe just taking the summer bag vs.silk bag liner only. The pad option has me thinking about the PO Tropic pad. They claim the "molded mesh upper allows cooling breathability". So for additional sleeping comfort and bug bite resistance the pad sounds good.
Any opinons on this pad regarding the claimed benefits of cooling breathability, durability etc.
