Shower adapter for Nalgene 96oz Cantene

The Cantene is a few years old. Mouth is ~60mm wide. Thinking about a homemade solar shower/ water preheater (to save on stove fuel) all in one unit. Any options?

Right now the only simple, but maybe not that effective solution I can think of is a spare cap with a few holes drilled into it.
