Looks like the welt was changed during a re-sole?

I think I've seen this model before in old Ski Hut catalogs.

These are a nice pair of boots.  At first glance they look just like the 8's.  After looking them over they do have slight differences.  They look like they were based on the 8's but maybe changed just enough to be a propritary model to be sold by only one company as suggest by alan in the last post.

I'll have to pass on these though their are a great deal for someone looking for a just like new pair of Pivetta's.  I'm starting to steer away from suede (rough side out) outers and am moving towards factory finished (smooth side out) outers.

Another reason I'll have to pass on these is that I added a pair of Alico Summit's & Raichle Montagna's to the mix.  Both are newer boots that were made with in the last 6 years as opposed to all of the older vintage boots I have .  Both have smooth side out factory treated outers.  Both are welted boots that have taller uppers for good ankle support.
