My mom still loves me (crochet cap and beard)

So,

I asked my mom of she could make one and she said it looked too hard.  The next week two showed up in the mail.

She said making the mouth part was tricky but they look good to me. 

If you know someone who crochets/knits give them a try. Mom says she won't make you one. 


These sell for $20-50 online.  Sounds like a lot for $1.50 in yarn but if you can't crochet...

Those are really good, and fetching too. I had one of those (xmas) but it wasn't as nice, being store bought and a bit tight.

That review is one of the best I've seen in a while. I particularly like this line, which is exquisite:

...with loops to fit around your ears so you don't have to use it if you don't feel like it.

I can see you pondering, each morning, "Beard, or just the cap..." I suppose you could even go with the beard on it's own?

Your mom sounds like my grandmother.  She look at something that was crocheted and duplicate it.  She could also cut a pattern for a dress just by looking at it.
