I used the Augmenteon(or how ever ya spell it) for awhile. Had to wear a helmet while using it. That thing was a widow maker magnet.

Not a big fan of the French Wedge either. Didn't work as well as I thought it would. ;)

Maybe it is a body type thing. You have to have a caved in chest and bow legs.

Actually I ordered one a while back. They must be really behind on orders (lot of demand is good right?) because I haven't received the pack yet.

I wonder if it all comes in one box?

Wow - do you really think I'll get the crevasse too?

I could use one, it's flatter than a flitter where I live.

Trust me, I'm an old guy that has allot of gear. And I'm telling you that this is just a fad. In fact I had one in the 50's. The trees were not intimidated! In fact there was one time that the tree jumped in my path, knocking me backwards down a muddy trial. I never did find my G-string.

Don't fall for the hype.

That video and a couple of "less edited" versions have been circulating on the web for 4 or 5 years. It was shot near Tucson. I believe one of the other "non-family" versions was posted on Trailspace a couple years ago and deleted because of "content".

the video is funny.  worth noting that in the real world, McHale used to make an extremely tall backpack, the super inex, that towered over the competition.  literally.  the adjacent backpack that is dwarfed by the super inex is a wild things andinista, a tall pack in its own right.

Occasionally the Ocala National Forest pays host to the Rainbow People aka Rainbow Family.

Last year I noticed half a dozen or so hikers walking down the main highway several had backpacks well over their heads by at least 2-3 feet.
