Wow these look kind of interesting. The mods or DIY options on these things is endless (thinking paracord for the strings?, making them yourself, etc)

I'm not a supporter (financially) or the developer of these. just thought I'd mention them here.

Or, you could pick out your favorite insoles (superfeet or something warmer more flexible) get your own wool felt and make them yourself around the pattern of the insoles. instant comfortable fit.

Would any other materials work better for outdoor use?
