so i just ordered my vasque clarion gtx...
amazon.com had them for 129 (as opposed to 150 from other stores) and plus my motherinlaw got me a 50 dollar gift card to amazon.com so i basically got them for 80 (free shipping) they should be in in a couple of weeks. i'm excited...

I have a pair of them laying around somewhere.
Nice boots, you will like them.
I strongly urge you to water test them before heading out on a camping trip.
I bought a pair, put 'em on and sat in the bathtub with water up to the tongue gusset for 10 minutes. The boots leaked around the stitching of the toe box.
Next pair I got did not leak, but the suede got soaked and took a while to dry.
Vasque Customer Service Reps told me to spray the outside of the boot wih Kiwi Camp Dry (can be found at walmart shoe dept). The Kiwi spray sure works well - water runs right off the exterior of the boot and it still breaths as designed.
