I am thinking of buying one of these..cant decide which. The MH has windstopper and the Marmot doesnt but then the Driclime windshirt is supposed to be a classic of sorts. Any users who can give some feedback. Thks

Re: Marmot Driclime windshirt vs MH Transition Zip T

I find windstopper garments are just too warm for me, and, don't breathe that well. Not an "efficient" layer for me.

Marmot Driclime windshirt was one of my favorite pieces for many years. Has a light nylon wind layer on the outside, so, cuts the wind slightly, but, breathes really well. Was a layer I could ski tour in all day and never remove. Also, layer over it was nice as top layers can slide nicely on the slick nylon layer underneath.

Have a windstopper jacket and never really liked it for outdoor stuff. A friend really likes his, though, so a bit of personal preference.

Cheers,
