need some tent advice.

I'm trying to find a decent, or nice even, three-season shelter for two. the problem is that I'm 6'6", and inside of everything into which I've crawled on the showroom floor I end up touching both ends of the tent. are there any other tall bodies out there who can give me a little direction? I'd like something reasonably light, not bigger than a three person, with some room for gear.

I'm 6'5" and I have the same problem. I tried a Black Diamond Vista. My head and feet hit the end walls and the vestibules were very small. I'll be watching to see if anybody has better suggestions.

What tent(s) have you looked at thus far?

I should point out I am 6'1". Not quite as tall as thou art but I can relate to what you are saying.

My Cabela's XPG Deluxe two person tent works out fine for me, size wise that is.

Plus you might want to check out the Mountainsmith Guardian. It is only $99.97 at Campmor. Pretty lightweight for a three person model. Worth a look into. I have this self-same tent.
