Thinking outside the box:PC velco cable orginizers

I was headed out for a short day hike at Table Rock in SC this past weekend when I noticed laying on the table, a couple of velcro cable orginizers. I sccoped them up deciding that in that instant that it is quite possible that they might have some type of use. Being that it was only a 4hrs roundtrip I did not have much gear with me but I did find that the were very useful for straping my trekking poles to my day pack while not using them and the weight absolutly nothing. I will definitely start carrying some of these with me as I think they could have multiple possible uses.

Below ar similar but not the same as what I used:

I have used straps like that to hold multi tool and knife to shoulder straps and bear spray off the hip belt. I'm sure theres lots of other things that could be used for.
