Hiking boots USA

Does anyone know of any hiking boots still made in the US other than Danner?

The best production hiking boots, in the opinion of many, were always made in Italy. US companies would have them manufactured there and re-badge them here. Donner Mountain Co. had the Pivetta's, Red Wing started Vasque, etc.. Now Peter Limmer & Sons, who once made all their boots in NH, has most of their boots made by Meindhl in Germany.

Apart from custom makers, I think only White's and Danners still make hiking boots in the US.

Limmer Boots in New Hampshire has production boots that are made in Germany by Meindl. US design, German manufacture. These are old-school leather hiking boots, heavier than most boots made today but much more able to sustain heavy use. outstanding design too.

Some people hike in Red Wings - still made in the USA, I believe.
