40th anniversary of the moonlanding in 1969

Its hard to believe that is already the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing on July 20th 1969.

I was just 13 and I remember it vividly. Back then the rockets took of and everyone stopped whatever they were doing and were memorized by all the space mission launches.

And amazingly there were 6 missions that landed on the moon leaving behind the lunar modules and a few moon vehicles, flags and other things. One astronaut even hit a golf ball from the moon and put it into space.

Hay Gary stop reminding me on how old I am lol. It was a big deal to my parents so they got me up when it was on TV way back when.
