Gear Pioneers

I don't know if this website has been discussed here, but I found it very interesting.

http://www.oregonphotos.com/Backpacking-Revolution1.html

It discusses the early gear pioneers from 1945 to present.

I can vouch for the author -- I exchanged some e-mails with him in the course of researching a story. Very knowledgeable guy.

Re: Gear Pioneers

I will probably give them one of my labels on my Mountain Products Tent. Does anyone know how to do this or done it before?

Bruce Johnson at Oregon Photos - brucej@oregonphotos.com - is the keeper of the website. Email him. Here is his home page.

Re: Gear Pioneers

Thanks Bill I sent him an e-mail today. Hopefully he can put a picture of the set-up on his site or at least the label. Great tent fly combo well made about 2.5 lbs. I did ask about possible tent restoration. Fly is still perfect.
