How can you tell the difference between a 91 steep and a 93 steep
What are the main differences between the two which enable you to tell which one is which

The somewhat obvious distinctions could be
91 is a USA made and will say that on the tag (no chinas that year) while 93 was a China (no USA after 92, apart from later model fleeces).
The grey on a 91 is very light, while the grey on a 93 is dark.
The North Face and Steep Tech logos on the 91 are black, while on the 93 they are the color of the coat (red, blue, green, yellow) apart from the all black 93 and those logos are slightly lighter than the coat. The logo placement on the 93 can also vary from being on the black shoulder area, to down in the color band on the left chest.
The 93 also has an Ultrex label on the inside left, while the 91 does not bear an Ultrex label anywhere.
Those are some ways you can determine them, I am sure there are more obvious ways to tell.
