I planing Everest base camp trek i heard about Everest base camp trek has been an admired destination for the trekkers, hikers and climbers. It is a typical trek that takes you through the soul of Sherpa country right to the foothills of the mighty Everest with trails that guide you across the splendid wonders of nature, into tranquil monasteries & majestic landscapes of Khumbu Area. Everest base camp trek lead us through narrow valleys,  spectacular mountains including World’s highest peak  Mt.Everest Mt.Lhotse Mt. Nuptse Mt.Pumori and other snow-capped mountains above 8000m. This trekking route includes Sagarmatha National Park which is listed in world natural heritage list because of its diverse flora and fauna. The views of the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains are just divine from summit of Kala patthar , feels like you are in never land. This trek gives an insight into the live s and culture of Sherpa, Rai people of Everest trekking region. On the route we can encounter with the monasteries located at the highest region with the background of Mt.Everest nearing day by day which feels unbelievable and thrilling. Everest base camp trek is popular between adventure seekers throughout the world. Besides self satisfaction and reaching the significant height of 5,545 meters, another great feel of the Everest base camp trek is being able to say, “I have visited the highest mountain in the world”. suggest me ideas i choose to travel with these company

I had some geologist friends that went on two treks to Everest Base Camp.  They were always looking for recruits for the next trip and giving slide shows.

The mountains are spectacular and it would a great experience to spend time with Buddhist Sherpas.  What stopped me was the 18000 foot pass, below zero temperatures at night, limited diet and problems with village sanitation.  The tea houses have fires going on the floor but no ventilation.  It would be a great experience, but it is a long way to go for a winter camping trip on the world's biggest rockpile.  Make sure you know what you are getting yourself into in terms of risk from extreme elevation.

Let's hear from GiftofGab.

She did it last year, and probably has some helpful information to share. For her, it was one of the greatest and most memorable experiences of her life and well worth the effort and the expense.
