Planning a trip for early September that will include a traverse of the Presidentials (staying in huts for that part).  Before that part of the trip we'd like to do 2 or 3 nights backcountry camping to hit the Carter Moriah Range (Carter Dome etc.).  Looking for suggestions on place to camp. I know about the Imp Campsite and we might try to stay there.

Can anyone tell me if there are good campsites at No Ketchum Pond?

Also, does Nineteen Mile Brook Trail have any campsites along the lower portion, between 2-3 miles in?  Thinking that might be a first night option.

Thanks.

There are some "established" campsites, but you can camp anywhere below treeline and 150ft from water sources.
