New to the Forum
Hello to everyone. I am looking for information on a trip to the Somkies. Planning on a 3 nighter. I ahve looked at several trail maps just wanted some opinions from people that have actually hiked through the Smokies.

Sounds like fun! I have only hiked the AT secection of GSMNP but two things stand out from that secetion. First, the fire tower on Shuckstack, Second was Charlies Bunion Although at this time of the year I bet the bunion will be swarming with people. IMHO the whole AT section is fabulous! You could probably make a nice loop on part of the at and a side trail. Wereever you go it is sure to be the right spot!
