Canoeing Down the Susquehanna

Has anyone here taken a canoe trip down the Susquehanna? As another one of my PA expeditions, I'd like to spend a week in June canoeing down the Susquehanna, starting around Towanda and stopping at Shikellamy State Park in Sunbury. The trip is about 150 miles.

Has anyone done something similar to this and would like to share their experience? Your info would be helpful for me in my planning.

Thanks.

Just make sure you give 3 mile island a wide berth.
