Jacks River Trail - road / water conditions?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had been to the West trailhead of the Jacks River trail recently? We're planning a trip starting near the TN border, not Dally Gap.... do you think my Honda Civic will be able to make it to the West trailhead, down the FS roads? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Jen1234,

The best advise I can give you is to contact the Armuchee Ranger Station in Chattsworth GA. 706-695-6736 Hopefully that number is still good.

The road and trail conditions in the Cohutta Wilderness area can change drasticaly depending on the season and amount of recent rainfall. I have not been there recently.
