I moved to Fort Collins, CO from Michigan almost two years ago, and finally got around to bagging my first two 14ers. We went for easy access and low technical requirements out of the gate...Grays and Torreys. Pretty busy even for a Friday morning, but a great hike nonetheless.

Very Nice! I never did do any of the 14ers when I was in Colorado, maybe some day.

Nice! I am looking forward to putting a few under my belt someday, but living in the east is a but of a hurdle at present.

14K in shorts! That is wild. I expected to see glaciers and stuff. Obviously I don't know the rockies well enough.

Sage, a different year and there very well could have been snow, but after an extremely low snow pack last winter and this blistering summer heat (90s and 100s on the Front Range since June), the high country is pretty clear. Only a few small snow fields hiding in whatever shade there may be.

Love the panoramic shot.
Nice day from the look of it.

Pretty typical weatherwise, peter...a clear morning, then a few clouds, a quick shot of sleet around 11am as we started back down, then maybe 20 minutes of rain as we got back to the car about 1 in the afternoon. A little of everything.
