On Tuesday a NY friend of mine who is visiting and I went on a day hike down into the Parunuweap Canyon near where I work here in NW Utah. The Parunuweap is a canyon referred to as the little brother of the Zion Narrows.

Along the way we saw these Desert Big Horn Sheep high on a sandstone cliff above us.

Today we are going to Red Canyon just west of Bryce and an area called Fairyland Overlook about 60 miles north of where I live. I will add more pictures from the Parunuweap and from Red Canyon/Fairyland Overlook later.

We returned from Red Canyon yesterday evening and a few other places, as soon as I go thru many of the 277 pictures I took and caption them, I will add more here later.
