Made a daytrip to Fontana Dam in Tennessee today.  The goal was to see the chaning leaves as we head into fall.  Unfortunately they weren't as colorful as I had hoped.  I guess this just means that I will have to drive back up US129 again (Tail of the Dragon) and check again in another two weeks.  Got a chance to hike a few miles on the AT today too.  I probably can't do a thru hike, but I would like to at least section hike the whole thing one day...  I put some pictures up, I hope they aren't too bad :)
