User Review: Alpina Mount
Rating: ![]()
Materials: Leather
Use: heavy backpacking/light mountaneering
Break-in Period: almost nothing
Price Paid: on sale for $120
These boots have plenty of support and have been comfortable with no painful spots from the start. They have become somewhat broken in after only a few short hikes. They have a waterproof liner, but I applied Sno-Seal and they have been completely waterproof. They have a little flex, but not much. They feel really solid while hiking, especially with a pack.
