User Review: Asolo Cerro Torre GTX

Rating: ![]()
Materials: Leather
Use: Work boot- a lot of walking but carrying no load
Break-in Period: 2 weeks
Price Paid: $119.99
I am sorely disappointed in these boots. I have worn them 9 months and the sole is coming off of one and the sole on the other is seperating. Both soles are slick. I know I have not subjected these boots to the wear that a hiker would, and these were sold to me as a good hiking boot. The only bright spot has been waterproofness (and that is due to the Gore-Tex). For $120 though, I expect a lot more than just waterproof. These would be good for a pair of Sunday shoes but if you are planning to actually use them for their intended purpose your money would be better spent elsewhere.
