All and all a solid boot. A little hard to break in though, I wore the boots two weeks to work in and still were not comfortable enough for a two or three day hike. The soles have no grip on slick wet surfaces, rock hopping a creek can easily become a quick swim. Now with those two minor cons out of the way I have to say this is an excellent boot. They are warm while hiking in snow even after a dip in the creek. I have had no issues with blisters, it is a well fitting boot.
