Bach is an Irish company that makes Europe's best backpacks. They keep it down to basics, without adding useless tricks and gadgets.

The Fat Maxx is their top of the line backpack (also their largest) and it has been performing exceptionally well. The use of Cordura Plus material ensures almost unlimited enjoyment, even in backpack-unfriendly countries like India.

Heavy loads are not a problem: the hipbelt is sturdy and without stitching through the middle of it. It compares best to a MacPac Glissade.
