Affordable way of accessing the backcountry and becoming introduced to off piste skiing. Short term solution before spending the money on a real touring setup.

  • Affordable
  • Easy to use
  • Can use with any setup

  • Fragile parts eventually break
  • More effort and frustration than a normal touring set up

This is a great for skiers who want to try touring and accessing the backcountry for the first time. This product is affordable and you do not need to commit to investing hundreds of $$$ on a touring set up.

Buyer beware though, you get what you pay for. Slower transition time leaves you lagging behind your partners and the fragile parts will eventually break with use and may leave you stranded.

However it is a great solution for novice bc skiers and those going on a trip and need to turn a resort setup into a touring setup.
