I really don't know why you don't hear more about banff clothing - although they are Canadian and thus serve a smaller group of folk. This jacket is very very nice. It really is rugged and light, with oxford polyester reinforcements on the shoulders, elbows, cuffs and seat. The fabric is quieter than other 3 ply garments i've seen, and it has many pockets including a chest water bottle holder. I can honestly recommend this shell to anyone interested in durability and technical features.
