Kora Shola 230 Zip

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Kora’s yak wool Shola 230 Zip base layer beats the itch of other wool. It provides a lot of warmth without a lot of weight or thickness. This zippered base layer top is constructed using Kora’s own Hima-Layer Original 230 yak wool fabric. All testing of the Kora Shola 230 base layer was done on the ski hill. I am very sensitive to lamb’s wool, and was pleasantly surprised when I first put the Kora zip base layer on. Immediately it became evident that not only is yak wool not itchy, it has… Full review

MyPakage Action Series Boxer Brief

rated 5 of 5 stars By isolating your package, MyPakage underwear is super comfortable. Wicking fabric keeps moisture at bay. MyPakage has an entirely new take on men’s underwear. The Keyhole Technology internal pouch surrounds the male private parts with fabric, providing both support and comfort. Below the Keyhole, MyPakage has installed a pucker panel which removes any seams that might cause discomfort or chafing. The Weekday series replaces the cotton used in most underwear with an exclusive fabric made of Modal… Full review

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer

rated 3 of 5 stars They are OK, Duluth Trading is much better. I have a couple of pairs and wear them often, today in fact. However I also have a few pairs of Duluth Trading Buck Naked briefs. The Duluths are much more comfortable, don't ride up, and are my choice when hiking. I think the Duluths are a little cheaper also. The ExOfficio's were my first purchase and I wore them about a year before I tried the Duluths. Full review

Voormi Women's Thermal ll Baselayer Top

rated 5 of 5 stars Well worth the investment...this brand is amazing! This is one of the most comfortable performance tops I have owned. It's lightweight but warm...perfect for every season. The fit is amazing and very flattering. The fabric is wool, but not uncomfortable itchy. Great for layering or wearing on its own. Well worth the investment! Full review

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer

rated 4 of 5 stars The ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer is an excellent choice for activities in hot, humid weather. The technical fabric wicks away moisture, helping you feel cooler, and dries quicker than cotton underwear so you're not left with damp, sticky boxers at your destination. They can be hand washed, and dry quickly so you really can get by with just two pairs. I'm slowly but surely getting around to replacing all my old-school clothing for warm-weather outdoor activities with modern, technical gear—no more… Full review

Patagonia Men's Capilene 2 Lightweight Bottoms

rated 4.5 of 5 stars Go-to sleeping bottom. These are my go-to sleeping bottoms.  They're light enough to wear in the summer, provide a good base layer for the winter, and are more comfortable than laying directly on nylon or whatever. I've never gotten them wet but assume they would dry fast. They fit well, and have a functional fly. One extra chilly day I hiked most of the morning in them before I noticed the micro grid pattern on the inside was causing chafing. Wouldn't recommend putting miles in with these. Great… Full review

Icebreaker Women's Oasis Long Sleeve Crewe

rated 4.5 of 5 stars I own three of these, and they are the most useful pieces of outdoor clothing I've ever owned. Since I travel a lot and only take a carry-on, I find the Icebreaker Oasis Crewe comes off the mountain and dresses up fairly nicely for supper in the city. They never smell. They dry quickly and wash beautifully. I own three Crewe shirts in black, black, and fuchsia. Although the black ones are more versatile, I love the bright pink colour. If you like your shirts loose, take a size larger. They do occasionally… Full review

MyPakage Action Series Boxer Brief

rated 4 of 5 stars The primary marketing edge of MyPakage's stretchy boxer briefs is a specially-shaped and partially separated pouch...but its real advantage lies in a no-chafe design with great fabric. The pouch feels odd at first; over time, I grew to really like these. They do a nice job wicking moisture and keeping you dry and are particularly good at drying quickly. They appear to be reasonably durable and did not chafe or bind. I would choose MyPakage boxer briefs over comparable boxer briefs based on overall… Full review

Icebreaker Men's Everyday Long Sleeve Crewe

rated 5 of 5 stars I would fill my closet with these shirts!! I've had this shirt for a few months now. I went on a two-week road trip Quebec-Colorado-Grand Canyon-Vegas and all the way back, and had this shirt for most of the time and skied with it. Came back and nobody could've said so by looking at it or smelling it. I am 6' - 175 lbs and took the XL so I could wear it with a looser fit, which also permits me to wear another tighter layer of merino underneath when really cold. So instead of packing 5-6 T-shirts,… Full review
